The ATE fluid container states it is compatible with DOT3 and DOT4 brake

Rick at SS has told me that the caliper seals should not have a problem but

All I can speak from is personal experience. When I worked for a
VW/Audi/Porsche dealer, we stocked their ATE DOT4 fluid, and since VW and
Audi had used some Girling calipers in the late 70's, I figured it would
work. I was mistaken. Within 6 months, I had brake fluid seeping from both
calipes and both wheel cylinders.

Never again have I strayed from Castrol GTLMA!
