Well for me less than thirteen hours to find out if this Y2K stuff is a
big non event (as I suspect) or if life as I know it is about to end.
New Zealand will be the first country to see the sun rise on the new
millennium, will probably have the first birth of the century (only
spoil sports would point out that centuries end in "0" and begin with
"1") and should there be a real Y2K issue we'll find out long before the
rest of the world.
Computer companies have a huge presence here as we will be used as a
barometer for the rest of the world. I'll post you guys tomorrow and let
you know what to expect. If there's lots of spelling mistakes it just
means I'm hung over.
