Short of the factory Rootes Light Range Manual for 1725 Cars, the next best
is the Autobooks manual # 930 for the Minx, by Kenneth Ball, which covers all
1725cc-powered Rootesmobiles 1965-67, including Alpine 5. Among other
things, it has wiring diagrams for other alternator-charged Rootes cars, in
case you want to hook up an ammeter. The Alpine V diagrams never include the
ammeter - in any book.

It appears frequently on ebay (there may be one there now). They usually go
for $10-$15.
