Many thanks to those who have already helped me with the conversion to twin
40 Webers, one (hopefully) final question.
The cold starting device on the carbs that I have operates the wrong way
round. i.e. If I pull the choke cable the cold starter goes off. Can I get
round this by buying a longer coke cable and looping it round the manifold
so that it pulls from the front of the car?
From Ian Spencer's pictures of his Harrington his cold starting devices
operate the other way to mine, off towards the front of the car and pulled
on by the choke cable towards the rear. Are these available to change from
weber dealers so that I can keep the same choke cable arrangement?
Your comments / experiences valued.
