Hello Alpiners, from the archives I read a thread about using Datsun
valves to build a deeper breathing alpine head. Can anyone give me the
low down on this. What Datsun valve, what size do you cut it down to,
just the intake, is it worth it? Has anyone done this and did you notice
a difference. While I am asking who can regrind the cam or is there
still an after market cam available? Finally the chevy rod engine what
are the pit falls, is anyone running one of these, is it worth the
expense for a driver that you are not necessarily interested in spinning
up to 7k. Still I cannot help but think I need one of these engines...
have the urge to tinker something about bigger valves and a cam.... well
anyway any advice would be appreciated. jim 66SV PS there must be
something magic about posting a question two thing I have ask about have
healed themselves. The ignition key stopped getting hot and the back
carb stopped leaking..... wonder if the burnt valve will get better
