I went to a local alignment shop that was highly recommended. Lots of wild
machinery parked there, including some factory racing Porsches. I started
to show the guy my book. He waived it off. He said, "how do you want it?
road, spirited driving, racing..." I said spirited driving. He did his
magic and my suspension never felt so sharp. He later said in jest that he
was about to kick me out when I handed him the book.
So, I guess either (1) the guy is a quack or (2) the alignment angles are
not necessarily car-specific and a good shop can align your car just fine
without your book.
