Hello listers, especially those down under!
I'm in desperate need of an air cleaner housing, the type that sits
atop the dual downdraft Zenith carbs on Series III or IV Alpines. Not the
individual screens, as I don't have the room for them. This is for my Sunbeam
Funwagon, a US version of the Commer 2500 caravan, that I've "hotted up" a
bit with some Alpine engine components. The engine purrs like a kitten, and
has MUCH better power than before, but I can't run the engine in yet as I've
no way to connect the air cleaner to the twin carbies! I understand the
remote air cleaner was standard on many Alpines sold down under - anybody
have one kicking about? It needn't be perfect - dented or a little rusty is
fine!
