I looked this up in my file for Alpine stuff from the net. Robert Dobrowski
stated that the Ausin Healey 3000 and maybe Triumph Spitfires used an
identical valve. I had ordered one from V.B. and it was right. You do have to
use your old bottom piece to get the angle right and you have to remove the
rivet and reclock the valve to match the Sunbeam position. It worked great on
my S4. Cost about $35. For Mk 1 Tigers I think they used a different valve?
At least thats what I see on Ebay when they want $100 plus for a Tiger valve.
Must make the water flow faster!
