When I rebuilt the front end, I had to use booties the were from a Jag. I

try to find the part# an post it. They are smoothe but fit fine and cost

Thread last week was ball joint boots and I uncovered some information in
the Tech Tips from SUNI '89:
Lower Ball Joint Covers: Use VW type II Bus covers P/N 211 405 375
Also converting 7/16" wheel studs to 1/2" use Dorman P/N H155 (no
drilling)
