Hi, Russ: I also have a '53 Saloon (not running (YET!)), it also has a
floor shift, but I have no idea what a Castle shift is. I've looked in
the parts manual and see no reference to ANY floor shift. I'd like to
know more about this, because I did do some driving of the car and found
the shifting mechanism to be less than ideal, and I am about to convert
an Alpine to a floor shift and would like more information than I
currently have.
I know that Bob Hamilton will have some information on this subject.
