I have a S III. The engine is stock. I replaced the carbs with a 36/36 non
progressive down draft webber. It has the stock headers. I love to rev the
little motor while going through the grears and the motor loves it too. I
have an extra head that I am going to get worked on. The guy did the same
thing to a VW I owned and my brothers early 911 with great results. To
answer your question, right now the motor makes maybe 85 to 90 hp. I would
like to get 110 hp when everthings done.
