That's what I use. I just talked to Smitty about it and he said that
he uses oil with detergent in his tranny. He said that the only thing
he could think of that may be damaged by detergent oil is the clutch
lining (OD trans?) and he has found this not to be the case. I seem to
recall hearing on the list that detergent oil was not good for a
Sunbeam trans. Wish I could remember why.
