Paul,

I just rough up the covers with some 400 W/D sand paper and depending on how
smooth the surface is either spray on primer and sand till its smooth or just
shoot Krylon black paint on it. I have done this on Sues S1 and recently on
my Tiger covers. Sues was a straight paint no primer and still on there after
5 years. Tiger looks good after priming to fill surface defects and painting.
Don't think powder painting is for plastic or bakelite like these pieces are.
My 2c worth.
