I had the same problem with my original SV ( which I still own!) and was able to
get bolts from my dad's racing stock bins. He got those from Alan Steel in the
SFBA south of the SF Airport. They carry all sorts of useful stuff including the
aforementioned aircraft type bolts, stainless steel braided line ( good for brake
& clutch lines ) and other surplus aircraft stuff. Most people would have to go
the local Eagle hardware to get the bolts & washers in Grade 8 or pay a racing
shop to supply them. I think my bolts had wire lock holes and I used them instead
of locktite......-art-
