Jim, In your post noteing that the remaining shanks to be a
guide..................... The bolts had busted just inside the thread
line. I got them out by first trying your method,,, but my erasure kept
wearing off ------( So with my normal smartypants ideas...I said" why
wouldn't the magnet do the job. "? The magnet is on a copper line.
So I bent it like a drill handle and started twisting ...Wallla ! and
they came out like trained pups. Yes all but one So I drilled it and
easyouted it. The bugger.\
Now to find correct type bolts ...I'm goning by Caterpillar tomarow >)
