brake discs & drums!!

Hi,

 I heard that it is possible to machine drums and discs, the rear drums
on my SV have some scratches and the front discs are wind I guess. I can
not find the maximum inner drum diameter or the minimum disc thickness
in the workshop manual, I would be glad for any suggestions,
