RE:Alpine Tires

I believe the stock tires were 5.60-13 (which are 82 series). This equates to a modern R155-13 (80 series). The optional speed tires were 5.90-13 (82 series) which equates to R165-13 (80 series). I know R175-13 (80 series) tires will fit but R185-13's may rub. All of these numbers are from my memory so take them with a grain of salt. Anyone know of a web site with equivalent tire sizes? Coker tire? Thanx.

What has been a good overall tire brand for Alpine owners? Everyone has
their favorites-the reason I ask is that I have located a set of Dunlop
185-80-13 on alloy wheels to fit my S2. If I do the conversion right, I
believe this is equal in size to a 175-13 size which shows no aspect
ratio from 20 years ago. Any thoughts? Brent
