Hi everybody
Damndest thing: I was talking to the guy who's doing some work on my
pickup truck and the talk turned to Sunbeam Tigers. He says a guy he
knew (and hasn't seen in 16 years) bought Maxwell Smart's tiger after
the person who bought it from the studio sold it. He says it still had
the "hydraulic cannon" that popped out of the hood and the plumbing that
dumped oil into the exhaust to make the smokescreen was still in place,
though not connected. I didn't think the car was actually used in any
of the episodes--just in the intro scene.
So, was I being handed a load of fertilizer, or what? Anybody know
anything more about this?
