Bob, I have 2 pair that I have had cleaned and turned waiting until I need
them. They are 91/2". I am pretty sure one pair is from a Ser. II. The
partsbook says the Ser. I & II is the same part number, the part number
changed for the Ser. III, IV, V, and the Tiger. There are only 2 part
numbers listed, I would think at the worst there should only be two
different sizes if there is in fact a difference in size. All of my III,
IV, V,s are still on the cars so I can't get a good measurement, maybe some
one else has some already off that they can measure. The partsbook also says
that the brake pads are the same on all the Series, so if there is a larger
size on the later Series what would be the advantage? Would larger have more
of a cooling effect? I think they all are 1/2" thick, new condition, I
haven't heard of any new ones available for a long time.
