Funny you should mention Playboy. The " Tiger an Exceptional Motorcar" book
mentions that the 1965 " Playmate of the Year " was given the use of a pink
painted Tiger for the year as part of the Rootes advertising promotion. I guess
someone there likes Tigers if one is on display....;-)........-art-. P.S. now
that I've dug out my archive books, is anyone interested in the information in
the Brooklands Books collection " Sunbeam Alpine & Tiger 1959-1967 "? It has a
collection of road tests & advertising by Rootes and some info about
performance tuning......
