I used to own one of the Sports Car Forum's racing Alpines. It was a
Series II, white with the same blue stripes as yours. I'd have to dig
through my pictures, but I think the number was 7. Unfortunately, the
car was beyond restoration before I could save it and I believe that
Russ Eshelman has the bonnet for it now, (I'd be interested in gettting
it back Russ, if you want to bring it to Tom's bash!) Most of the car
went to save the Bob Kimes Series II that I still own today. I actually
have original pictures of these two cars on the starting grid and from
what I understand, they were very competitive with each other.
