Hello AlfaRomeo man

Change head will not give much noticeable difference, if any.
Instead: Take away the sharp edges in the inlet (just behind the valve) Same with the exhaust. You can easily feel the edges with your finger. Reshape the combustion chambers around the inlet valve to reduce shrouding. This is a bit tricky so have a specialist to do it if you are unfamiliar with this job. Then use your valves if you are working on a 1725 head. The Sunbeam/Hillman alloy heads are sensitive to this modifications and it is easy to feel the extra hp above 4000 rpm.

Let the flywheel be! Why is everyone so keen lightening the flywheel. It will not give any extra hp and no faster acceleration. On a full race engine, yes. Fast gearchanges to a lower gear with quick dab on accelerator.

About camshafts ?? Doesn't look that radical on paper (or am I mistaken)
