Hi:
I was looking at the Victoria British Catalog for Spring 2000 and
noticed that the red tiger on the cover is the same one they used on the
Summer 99 edition. I wasn't interested in the car then, but have since
noticed that the rear wheel is deeper than the front, probably to fill
the rear wheel well better and widen the track a bit.
My questions:
1. What wheel diameter are those rims?
2. What is the width of the rear wheel and what is the width of the
front wheel?
3. What is the backspacing on the front rim? What is the backspacing on
the rear rim?
4. What size tires were used on the car?
My observation:
The owner is listed as James R.
The Summer 99 catalog says he's in Kansas.
The Spring 2000 catalog says he's in Iowa.
Guy must have moved.
My problem:
The person I spoke with at VBL can't give out the owner's phone number
(understandable) and wouldn't pass mine on to him (disappointing). I've
checked my copy of the the CAT member list for 99 and can't find him
listed in either Kansas or Iowa.
My request:
If anybody knows the owner and can put him in touch with me, I'd
appreciate it.
If anybody knows the car and could answer my questions about the wheels
and tires, I'd appreciate that too.
