I think Russ may be right. I assumed the hood badge on my SIV was off an
older car since the car started racing in the 1964 season.
1) Does the Tiger rear quarter badge have the mounts vertically and what
retains the badge on the fender? Would they be space aprox. 2.25" apart?
2) Does it say something on the top of the badge? I can't remember and none
of the photos are detailed enough. I can tell it has a small round Rootes
emblem at the lower part of the shield.
3) Did the Mk III 1950's Alpine have an identical badge? Or were they
slightly different? How were they different?
This would be great if the badge was off a Tiger fender! At least I would
have hopes of finding another!
Thank you,
Steve
