Don:
As several people have already pointed out that you have an allsynchro
transmission from a later series Alpine, I would warn you that most on the
list feel you should only use Victoria British as a last resort. Sunbeam
Specialties and Classic Sunbeam both supply superior parts and services
that are non existent at VB.
I would measure your battery box first and buy a battery with the best cold
cranking rating that will fit in the space.
