I'm not sure you can tell or even if they caem with radios from the
factory. I think that in the US they were a dealer installed option.

The radio would have mounted directly below the clock, if you have one,
and above the trans well. It mounted with a plastic or, in some cases,
crinkle painted metal facia. The moutning facia varies widely from
coast to coast. I have seen some very nice ones, plastic with gold
anodized aluminium speaker grills, and some plain ones, just enough to
cover the radio.

Speaker mounts vary as well. As mentioned above, some facia have the
speaker mount incorporated into the radio mount facia. Mine, a SV, is
like this. It is a simple metal half-box painted in black crinkle with
a mount for the radio and holes for the speaker. You can see it on
Ian's web site www.sunbeamalpine.org under Past Features. Since mine is
a SV I would imagine that it would not be the same as for a SI. The
only other place I have seen a mount like mine is on a west coast
Tiger. I fabricated mine from a photo of it. The other speaker mount
I have seen is a simple plastic box which housed the speaker directly
below the radio, about 6" sqaure. When I purchased my original
"Sunbeam" radio at a swap meet it came with one of these speaker boxes.
BTW, these were mono units and only came with one speaker.
