Actually, I had those two side pieces too. On the cars I've seen at least,
those two side pieces are about 6-7" long, but then there were about 3 feet
long of black pressboard in between those two side pieces - like right
above where the heater controls are and along that area. The little cubby
hole light mounted through those center pieces too.
