OD Install

My OD unit will not install as a reverse of removal. After bolting the
upper bellhousing bolts and the engine lowered all the way, upon raising
the back end it hangs up at the crossmember by about a half inch. What
gives? Any phone #'s I can call off line to help me throught this?
