I once bought a master cylinder that definitely appeared old and even used
becasue of that funky wax type paper. I got it from Sunbeam Specialties.
I didn't want to use it and I was worried I had a bad part. But, that
little ugly MC has outlasted ALL my other cylinders. So, I wouldn't worry!
