Walnut burl. You can buy it in sheets at a lumber yard for about $90 a roll.
a roll will be enough to cover 4-6 dashboards. I can get you the brand name
since I have a roll in my garage that I bought 18 years ago to do my dash
and haven't gotten around to it yet! If your lumber yard can't get it for
you, try a place that deals in hardwoods only. If they can't, let me know
and I will look for the phone number for a place that sells it. Lou
