rear valance

I have uncovered a severely damaged rear valance(after removing lots of
bondo). I have a unblemished valance on my parts car (I am starting to love
the parts car more and more now). Does anyone have any tricks of the trade
on how to separate the seams on the rear valance????? Where it is welded to
the rear fenders, I can not access to drill out welds. Will a air chisel do
to much damage???? All help will be appreciated.
