Robert,
the drip rails are basically a "interference" or "friction fit." They are
lapped over the top and tapped on tight at the bottom.
I have removed two sets now but have yet to install one. I will be
installing the ones on my series 5 within the next month as we are in the
process of paint.
I highly suggest a rubber mallet when reinstalling, working slowly along the
gutter.
Work slowly from the tail end when removing taking care not to bend or warp
the stainless.
