OK, so I may not be able to stop by the airport every week for fuel and at
least one person thinks the additives don't add much. How about a water
injector? I had a friend who built up a full race Datsun 510 who had to
install a water injector in his carbs just to run the old high octane (97).
I was thinking about placing a small jet in the plug in the bottom of the
Series II log manifold and running a tube to my windshield wiper bottle.
Just a few drops of water being pulled into the stream should help, but it
may not vaporize real well from the bottom of the log manifold. Running a
tube into the top of the cabs is also an option. Has anyone got any
experience with water injection?
