Again I need assistance. I have a servo repair kit ordered that should
arrive on Monday. So, I was dismantling the servo unit as instructed in the
service manual in anticipation of its arrival. Well,the output piston
spring, part #27 on the cross-section illustration was in many pieces. This
is the spring that is about 4" long and has about 24 coils. The spring is
about 1/2" diameter. Now, I can not imagine that this spring comes in the
repair kit. Please tell me if I am wrong. Assuming that I am not, has anyone
else had this problem and can I find a replacement spring. mine is so
broken up that I cannot tell how stiff a replacement should be, etc.
