I've competed in several mechanical performance sports before Autox and I
truly see the need for tightly enforced rules. I just think it is absurd
that in a class where you can change the front sway bar, change shocks,
change exhaust, run the lightest wheels you can afford shod with racing
tires with a couple of groves... changing the shift knob is illegal because
it may give you a "performance advantage"
