Whoa, these cars! Today I got the door ajar switches to work, the
passenger solenoid and latch to work, the wiper motor to park and do two
speeds (and you may want to grease your worm gear, if you know what I
mean), and some other stuff working that I can't remember. Is my guess
right that the switch on the driver's door to the rear (there is the
door ajar switch to the front) is the one that lights up the interior
lights (something I didn't even know these had, you know, for safety
reasons because someone may use them when driving!)

But my main question is something that happened when I drove the car
today and later when it idled. Suddenly and without warning the engine
just flat dies. When it happened while driving I think that it was
after a stop and, wham. I Immediately pulled over but it started right
away, so quickly and properly that I thought that I was mistaken, that
maybe I had just maybe put it in neutral or something. So, the rest of
the ride was normal, with a couple of starts, city driving for about 6
miles, etc. But, when I did the ajar switches and passenger latch, and
wanted to check everything, I started the car and idled it and wham, it
stopped after about 6 -10 minutes, the same amount of time when it
stopped before. Whe I say stopped I don't mean that it coughed or
stuttered. it just flat out stops. It seems like it is likely
electrical because when I start it there is no delay like one would
expect with having a fuel problem and having the bowls fill up. Any
ideas?
