Hi,
I need help on Ignition Switches for a 67.5 1600?
The PO added an Ignition Switch under the dash, to the left of the steering
column, which has fallen apart. The existing switch in the Ignition Lock,
looks like it has been filed around the edges, in order to fit into the
lock.
So I have:
a) A switch in the lock thats been messed with - 5 prongs
b) A switch under the dash thats fallen apart - 4 prongs
c) A new switch for a 510 - 5 prongs
d) A new switch for a 240Z - 5 prongs
e) A used switch from a 66 Roadster - 3 prongs
I looked at the wiring under the dash, and it agrees with 67.5 wiring
diagram on Sports Imports' diagram, 1 Black wire, 1 Black with Yellow wire,
and 1 Black with White wire. I'd like to use the 66 Roadster switch, but
I'm not sure how to hook up the 3 prongs on the switch to the 3 wires. How
do I know which wire goes to which prong?
Or any other Iginition Switch ideas are also very welcome.
