I raced a 914  1.8 in the 70's ( EP ) and I remember MGB's also being (EP)
So of course they were not up to 2000's which ran DP (SU's) or CP (Solexes)
The best MGB's were fast, but my friend's 2000 had a lot more pull.
He sometimes ran CP, if there weren't any of the real fast Z's.
