Spent the weekend wearing out two wire wheels on the innards of my trunk and
boy are my arms tired! I think I may have found the missing link down in one
trunk well--will have to do some carbon dating. I did find a spare UniSyn
inside the rear fender, lost I guess by the PO. Now I can tune both carbs at
the same time! Wanted to go to Solvang, but the putting-back-together
process is oficially in motion, and had to get some last minute stuff
finished before the body leaves for painting.
Also, found a zinc plating shop in Orange County. Will pass the name along
(good or bad) when I get stuff back. If you're looking for a good powder
coater, I can recommend GemTech Industries in Huntington Beach (714)
848-2517. They do good work.
