And on the subject of used: my spare heater core, swapped in to replace
the leaking original, is itself now starting to leak. I've checked with a
couple of local shops and they just snickered at a 30 year old Datsun.
Most shops don't want to bother with recoring, though there's one that
said to bring it in and they'd consider it (whatever that mean$).
I would like to find a new (not used) core. Contrary to popular rumor, there
ARE places in CA that get a tad nippy. Before I'm forced to wrap my feet
in hot water bottles, has anyone found a replacement unit that works?
This is a high screen ('69) model.
