I do believe that the thread pitch will only cause the bolt to increase in
torque in more turns. The force exerted in revolving the bolt is directly
proportional to the force the bolt exerts on the oposing element. there fore
if the bolt has 30 threads per inch it would take 3X as many turns as a 10
thread per inch bolt to obtain an equivelent torque measurement. Although the
torque measurement is read as rotational force the real oposing force is
pressure the junction where the bolt head rests.
