For anyone who is technically interested:
It depends on whether it is hits or page views that are being counted.
If it is actual "hits," that includes one for each graphic on the page
(where the html says "<img src="). On the page with Mike's pictures of Guy's
cars there are 28 such graphics. Bringing up that page alone will register
32 hits (the basic html, 28 graphics, 1 stylesheet and 1 jscript).
A "page view" is one fully-rendered page as seen by the user. Most Web
statistics programs will show both numbers.
