I'm completely certain my car had original paint.  When I pulled up the rear
package shelf vinyl,  I don't recall seeing any rectangular spots but there
were several faint Japanese characters written in white chalk or grease
pencil.  I assumed they were from the assembly process.  I now wish I had
taken a picture or at least tried to copy the text.  It has since been
painted over.
