I am currently installing new carpet in my wife's '70 1600. I am using
sticky back Velcro to hold the carpet down. It comes in squares, circles, &
strips. Should be able to find them at K-mart, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.. I
don't know how it will hold up over time but so far it is working just fine.
