Charlie,

Did you check the old throw out bearing to the new one? Is it mounted
correctly?

I had several TO Bearings which I got from who knows where many years ago
but when I went to use one of them I noticed 2 of them were wrong although
they would fit on the bracket.

It would have to be a serious warp to cause that.
