Now if you want to build a Lotus 7 there is a company here in Huntsville
that builds a very nice kit out of aluminum that is light weight.  The cost
is reasonable and will accept most any drive train.  These are NICE!  I was
very temped myself.............

Free!  I need a no brainer like that - Actually my Dad has my old Z that he
wanted to do a 250GTO kit on but I'm getting the feeling that he won't ever
get around to it so I'm going to work on him to donate the Z

One of Peter Egan's Side Glances columns from a while ago dealt with a dream
he kept having about building his own Lotus 7 like car from the ground up
(from scratch).  I have always liked that idea.  Building something custom
gets me close so sooner or later it will happen.
