I popped off one of the covers last night. Underneath is pretty much just a
flat plate attached to the carb. Nothing I would call a horn, but I don't
really know what I'm talking about. Can you direct me to a picture?

They look like Weiand air cleaners. Do you have air-horns under those
fly-eyes?
