Phil and all,
I've designed cases for some of the high memory storage MP3 players you are
referring to (Creative MP3). The beauty of these players is that they are the
size of a personal CD player and will never skip like a car CD changer. There
is no memory card to remove from the case, everything is downloaded directly to
the memory on the motherboard inside. They are only running about $300-400
retail currently, but expect it to come down within the next year. 10 hours is
definitely a LOT of music. The only drawback with this unit is user interface
while driving.
