     Whoopee! The old thing started today!  Even tried using the clutch, 
and boy does it feel better.  It isn't ready to go though, the front carb 
float-bowl valve doesn't seem to be working, there's a small puddle of 
gas underneath the freshly rebuilt carb.  This is a new needle and seat 
too :^(  I'll resurrect one of the old ones, it wasn't giving me any 
problems as far as I know.  The other problem is I get no temp reading. I 
assume this is a bad sending unit, the gas guage is working.  How hard is 
it to change a sending unit (or get one for that matter)  How hard are 
they to remove, this one seems pretty lodged in there.  
   
     Having a roadster for the TDROC Kerville meet looks possible now.
