I echo Pat's recommendation, and suggest, as well, it might be a good time to 
install a back up release cable through the firewall.  I had really *major* 
problems getting my hood open, years ago.

Also, (at least for me), it seems you need to do something about "wrapping" the 
length of your outgoing sentences.  Your message arrived as two sentences of 
several hundred characters each, requiring a lot of "lateral" scrolling.  I 
note, however, the quoted version is okay.  I'm confused :-).
